SERVE HIM STILL

This is a song I'd like to share, it has touched my spirit and lifted my soul. The Lord is my strength and my hope for life everlasting.


When the fiery trial is burning and with smoke my eyes are filled.
Till I cannot see an answer, I will learn to serve Him still.
Serve Him still, though the world is against me.
Serve Him still, though my friends turn away.
Serve Him still, though my flesh would prevent me.
I will learn to serve Him still.
And though I've often stumbled in the battle of my will.
I will seek His strength and mercy, and learn to serve Him still.
So on the day I see Him, when to Him I've been restored.
My joy will be forever because I've served my Lord.
